Scouting the Mavericks
The Mavericks dropped a pair of four-set matches to Stonehill and Pittsburgh-Johnstown on Sunday. Mercy has been led by senior Imani DeBose who has a team-high 88 kills with a .195 hitting percentage and 30 digs. Sophomore Selma Vulic is second on the team with 78 kills and is second with 76 digs. Junior Natalia Garcia has a team-high 214 assists with 42 kills and 75 digs. Junior Adriana Lopez-Soto has recorded a team-high 112 digs and senior NeKendra Liddie has a team-high 25 blocks.
Scouting the Setters
Pace has dropped seven matches in a row to start the season. The Setters have been led by Sandra Yang who has a team-high 45 kills. Christal Wong has 34 kills and Danielle Vaiano leads Pace with 61 digs. Orchestrating the offense is Samantha Nidini who has a team-high 67 assists and Katy Motz has 51 assists to her name.
