Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy has won three games in a row including earning a 3-1 victory in their last game against Dominican on Tuesday. The Mavericks have been led by senior Santiago Corral who has a team-high three goals and seven points on the year. Senior Maximiliano Rebolledo-Camus was named ECC Offensive Player of the Week and is second on the team with six points by way of two goals and two assists. Senior Ignacio Mangada has two goals and an assist and senior Gaston Rozenblum has a team-high four assists. Sophomore Aaron Denk-Gracia was named ECC Defensive Player of the Week after leading a Mercy backline that allowed just two goals. Juniors Jordan Williams and Joel Serrano have split time in net and have combined for 18 saves and a .783 save percentage.
Scouting the Knights
Queens earned a 1-1 tie against Franklin Pierce on Tuesday. The Knights were picked second in the ECC Preseason Poll and have been led by Adrian Garcia who has a team-high three points on a goal and an assist. Cristian Villalta and Paul Hayes also have game-winning goals and Marek Strzelczyk is 2-2-1 in goal with 19 saves and a .792 save percentage.
