Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy finished with a split against Millersville and USciences on Saturday, earning a 3-1 victory over the host Devils. Mercy opens up ECC play after being picked No. 4 in the ECC Preseason Poll. The Mavericks have been led by senior Imani DeBose who has a team-high 132 kills and sophomore Selma Vulic who is second on the team with 100 kills and third with 102 digs. Junior Natalia Garcia lead the team with 298 assists and is second with 108 digs. Junior Adriana Lopez-Soto has a team-high 167 digs and senior NeKendra Liddie has a team-high 32 blocks.
Scouting the Purple Knights
Bridgeport has won four matches in a row and will play at Saint Anselm on Wednesday before taking on the Mavericks. The Purple Knights are led by Amanda Hennemann who has a team-high 138 kills with 75 digs and a .261 hitting percentage. Carly Killorin leads the team with 451 assists and has 118 digs with 14 blocks. Klein Johnson has 162 digs and Breanna Jones has 164 digs, while Amanda Keller has recorded 108 kills and is hitting .404.
