Scouting the Mavericks
The Mavericks have won five games in a row and are coming off a 3-0 victory over Jefferson on Wednesday. With a win, Mercy would have their best eight-game start to a season since 1989 when they started 6-0-2. The Mavericks have been led by senior Ignacio Mangada who has a team-high ten points on four goals and two assists. Senior Maximiliano Rebolledo-Camus and Santiago Corral both have three goals and two assists and senior Kevin Rodriguez has two goals and an assist. Senior Gaston Rozenblum has a team-high four assists and junior Joel Serrano is 4-0-1 with 13 saves and .765 save percentage.
Scouting the Wildcats
Daemen is winless on the year and is coming off a 5-1 loss to California (Pa.) on Wednesday. The Wildcats opened up ECC play last Saturday with a 3-0 loss at New York Tech. Daemen is led by Pontus Lundin who has a team-high two goals on two penalty kicks. Derek Mancuso and Alex Christidis each have a goal and goalkeeper Eithan Hahn has a team-high 21 saves in three starts with a .677 save percentage.
