Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy is coming off a five-set win over the defending East Region Champions in American International on Saturday. The Mavericks have been led by senior Imani DeBose who has a team-high 171 kills. The outside hitter currently leads the ECC in kills per set and is second in kills. Junior Adriana Lopez-Soto leads the team with 207 digs and is second in the ECC in digs. Junior Natalia Garcia has dished out a team-high 390 assists and is third in the ECC in that category. Sophomore Selma Vulic has been named ECC Rookie of the Week three times and is second on the team with 114 kills and third with 132 digs.
Scouting the Purple Knights
Saint Michael's enters Tuesday's match on a four-match losing streak and dropped a 3-0 decision to Assumption on Saturday in their last match. The Purple Knights are led by freshman Sarah Scott who has a team-high 49 kills with 53 digs. Senior Allie Statile is second on the team with 41 kills and senior Tanner Barton has a team-high 66 digs. Freshman London Starley has paced the offense with a team-high 108 assists.
