NEW YORK, N.Y. (Feb. 25, 2022) – The Mercy College eSports team dropped a 2-0 (2-20, 10-26) decision to Daemen College, 4-0, and suffered a 2-0 (4-19, 3-32) setback to Southern New Hampshire University, 4-0, in East Coast Conference (ECC) League of Legends matchups on Friday night.

Match 1: Daemen 2, Mercy 0

Mercy, 0-4, was led in game one by DãrkŚwòrdśmãn (Daniel Reyes) who had a team-high two kills.

The Mavericks improved in game two, recording a season-high-tying 10 kills. Alpalzs (Alex Zumba) had a team-high four kills and DãrkŚwòrdśmãn had three kills. White Tea (Brian Wang) added two kills and xallarisa (Celia Sturick) tallied one kill.

Match 2: Southern N.H. 2, Mercy 0

The Mavericks, 0-5, were led in game one by DãrkŚwòrdśmãn, alpalzs, Biological Top (Damian Paez) and White Tea who each had one kill.

In game two, Mercy was led by DãrkŚwòrdśmãn, alpalzs and Biological Top who each had a kill.

Mercy resumes action on Friday, March 11th when they face St. Joseph's College (LI), 0-4, at 8 p.m.
