COLONIA, N.J. (Nov. 11, 2024) – Mercy University women's basketball senior Jaclyn Stanavich (Amsterdam, N.Y./Amsterdam) and junior Angelina Barrera (Gloucester City, N.J./Gloucester Catholic) have been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Basketball Honor Roll for Week One.

Stanavich averaged a team-high 19.5 points per game on 56.7 percent shooting with 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 2.0 assists and 1.5 blocks per game as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The senior opened the season with a game-high 21 points on 9-for-17 shooting with five rebounds and three assists in the win over Saint Anselm on Saturday. The guard ended the week with a team-high 18 points on 8-for-13 shooting with six rebounds, two blocks and three steals at Southern Connecticut State on Sunday.

Barrera averaged 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The junior opened the season with 14 points, four rebounds and three assists in the win over Saint Anselm on Saturday. The forward ended the week with 12 points, five rebounds and three assists at Southern Connecticut State on Sunday.

The awards are the first for both this season and the first for the Mavericks this season.
