DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Nov. 18, 2024) – The Mercy University women's basketball team is ranked No. 7 in the Division II College Sports Communicators (D2CSC) Preseason East Region Top 10 Poll.

Mercy drops two spots in the poll after going 0-1 last week with a 63-58 loss to Pace on Sunday. The Mavericks were led by sophomore Amani Abuhatab who had a team-high 16 points. Abuhatab and senior Jaclyn Stanavich were named to the ECC Honor Roll on Monday. Mercy currently sits at 1-2 on the year.

Head Coach Scott Lagas and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday when they host Dominican at 5 p.m.
