DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Mar. 9, 2025) – Mercy University women's basketball junior Angelina Barrera (Gloucester City, N.J./Gloucester Catholic) has been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Basketball Championship All-Tournament Team.

The junior is named to the All-Tournament Team for the first time in her career. Barrera averaged a team-high 18.5 points per game in Mercy's two tournament games on 66.7 percent shooting with a team-high 10.0 rebounds per game. In the Mavericks' First Round game against UDC on Wednesday, the junior had a double-double by way of 16 points and 13 rebounds on 6-of-9 shooting. Barrera added a team-high 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting with seven rebounds against Staten Island in the Semifinals on Saturday. The First Team All-ECC selection helped lead Mercy to the Semifinals for the second straight year and an 18-10 record overall.
