Men's Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule; Includes Nine Home Games

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Men's Soccer Team has announced its schedule for the fall 2026 season. The Mavericks will play a slate of 18 games, including nine games at Mercy Field.

Mercy enters the 2026 season looking to qualify for the ECC Championship for the eighth time in nine seasons. The Mavericks also look to qualify for the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time under Head Coach Pedro Velazquez after going 7-6-5, falling in the First Round of the ECC Championship.

The Mavericks open their 2026 season on Thursday, August 27th when they host East Stroudsburg at 3 p.m. Mercy will then host Monroe on August 30th before opening the month of September at 2025 NCAA Tournament participant Adelphi on September 2nd.

Mercy then plays at 2025 NCAA Tournament participant Bridgeport on September 6th before hosting West Chester on September 9th. The Mavericks then play at Southern Connecticut State on September 13th before hosting American International on September 16th.

Velazquez and the Mavericks open ECC play on September 19th when they host St. Thomas Aquinas. Mercy plays at 2025 NCAA Tournament participant Wilmington on September 23rd before playing at Daemen on September 26th. The Maverick cap off the month of September hosting Saint Anselm on September 29th.

The Mavericks begin the month of October hosting defending ECC Champion Roberts Wesleyan on October 3rd. Mercy then plays three straight road games against District of Columbia (Oct. 7), Staten Island (Oct. 10) and Pace (Oct. 14).

Mercy hosts D'Youville on October 17th and Queens on October 21st before ending the regular season at Molloy on October 24th.

The First Round of the ECC Championship will take place on Thursday, October 29th followed by the Semifinals on Sunday, November 1st. The Final will take place on Sunday, November 8th.
