DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Men's Soccer Team has earned the 2025-26 United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award for posting a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the 2025-26 academic year. The Mavericks were one of 326 men's soccer teams to receive the award.

Mercy posted a 3.66 team GPA during the 2025-26 season and earned the ECC Academic Team of Excellence Award for men's soccer for the seventh straight time. The Mavericks under Head Coach Pedro Velazquez went 7-6-5 in 2025, qualifying for the ECC Championship.
