COLONIA, N.J. – Mercy University Men's Soccer senior Jacob Darwesh Lund-Iversen (Oslo, Norway/Maryville University/Pima CC) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Week One and senior Mario de Roque Zazón (Zaragoza, Spain/Newman University) has been tabbed to the Honor Roll.

Lund-Iversen had a game-high five points on two goals and an assist in Mercy's 4-2 win over Monroe on Sunday. His two goals were scored on four shots, with all four on goal.

de Roque Zazón had a game-high-tying two goals and scored the game-winning goal in the 68th minute in Mercy's 4-2 win over Monroe on Sunday.

The awards are the first for both this season and the first for the Mavericks.

Head Coach Pedro Velazquez and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday when they play at Adelphi at 7 p.m.
