COLONIA, N.J. – Mercy University Women's Volleyball junior Grace Dilena (New York, N.Y./Liberty University Online Academy) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for Week Four, junior Stasa Stamenkovic (Bor, Serbia/Barton CC) has been tabbed Defensive Player of the Week and senior Adriana Rivera Rodriguez (Humacao, Puerto Rico/American International College) has earned Setter of the Week.

Dilena had a team-high 32 kills and 5.33 kills per set on .355 hitting with 19 digs, three aces and two assists as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The junior opened the week with a match-high 16 kills on .433 hitting with 11 digs, three aces and one assist in the sweep at Southern Connecticut State on Tuesday. The outside hitter ended the week with a match-high 16 kills go with eight digs and one assist in Mercy's loss to three-time defending East Region Champion Bentley on Thursday.

Stamenkovic had a team-high 24 digs and 4.00 digs per set with nine kills, two blocks, three aces and three assists as Mercy went 1-1. The junior opened the week with a match-high 14 digs to go with three kills, one block, two aces and one assist in the sweep at Southern Connecticut State on Tuesday. Stamenkovic ended the week with a team-high 10 digs to go with one block, six kills, one ace and two assists in the loss to three-time defending East Region Champion Bentley on Thursday.

Rivera Rodriguez had a team-high 69 assists and 11.50 assists per set to go with 16 digs, and four kills as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The senior opened the week with a match-high 40 assists to go with 12 digs and three kills in the sweep at Southern Connecticut State on Tuesday. The setter ended the week with 29 assists, four digs and one kill in the loss to three-time defending East Region Champion Bentley on Thursday.

Dilena is named Player of the Week for the third time this season and has earned four awards on the year. Stamenkovic earns her third award of the season and Rivera Rodriguez is named Setter of the Week for the fourth straight week. Mercy has now earned 15 awards on the year.

Head Coach Ana Todorovic and the Mavericks resume action tomorrow when they host Adelphi at 6 p.m.
