DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Women's Basketball Team has announced its 2026-27 regular season schedule. The Mavericks look to qualify for the ECC Championship for the seventh straight season and the NCAA Tournament for the third time in four seasons under Head Coach Scott Lagas, entering the season with 12 home games.

The Mavericks open their 2026-27 season on Friday, November 6th when they play an Exhibition at Division I Sacred Heart. Mercy begins their regular season schedule on Monday, November 9th when they play at Bentley in a rematch of last year's First Round of the NCAA Tournament. The Mavericks will then face Franklin Pierce at Southern Connecticut State on November 14th before playing at Southern Connecticut State on November 15th.

Mercy plays at Caldwell on November 18th before returning home for a five-game homestand. The Mavericks host Goldey-Beacom in their home opener on November 21st before hosting Pace (Nov. 24) and Assumption (Nov. 29). Mercy concludes the homestand opening ECC play against Daemen (Dec. 3) and Roberts Wesleyan (Dec. 5).

Lagas and the Mavericks play at Southern New Hampshire on December 12th before heading down to Florida. Mercy will face Saint Leo on December 18th at University of Tampa before playing at Tampa on December 19th. The Mavericks end the 2026 portion of their schedule at Dominican on December 31st.

The Mavericks begin the New Year hosting Saint Michael's on January 3rd before hosting ECC foe D'Youville on January 7th. Mercy then plays at Roberts Wesleyan (Jan. 14) and D'Youville (Jan. 16) before hosting Staten Island on January 21st. The Mavericks play at Molloy on January 23rd and at Queens on January 28th. Mercy ends the month of January hosting St. Thomas Aquinas on January 30th.

Mercy starts the month of February playing at District of Columbia (Feb. 4) and Staten Island (Feb. 6) before hosting Molloy on February 11th. The Mavericks play their final regular season road games at St. Thomas Aquinas (Feb. 13) and Daemen (Feb. 20). Lagas and the Mavericks cap off the regular season hosting Queens (Feb. 25) and District of Columbia (Feb. 27).

The First Round of the ECC Championship will take place on March 3rd followed by the semifinals on March 6th and the final on March 7th. The higher seeds will host in the first round and the semifinals and final will be played at the highest seed.
