COLONIA, N.J. – Mercy University Men's Soccer senior Pau Ramon (Mallorca, Spain/Southeastern CC) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Week Five and senior Jacob Darwesh Lund-Iversen (Oslo, Norway/Maryville University/Pima CC) and graduate student Sean Green (Asheville, N.C./Lees-McRae College) have been tabbed to the Honor Roll.

Ramon scored the game-tying goal in the 73rd minute of Mercy's 2-1 win at Daemen on Saturday. He also helped lead a Mercy backline that posted a 0-0 draw at Wilmington on Wednesday.

Lund-Iversen scored the game-winning goal in the 87th minute of Mercy's 2-1 win at Daemen on Saturday. The senior now has an ECC-best 10 goals and 23 points on the year.

Green went 1-0-1 in goal with six saves, a .857 save percentage and one shutout. The graduate student opened the week with two saves to earn the shutout in Mercy's 0-0 draw at Wilmington on Wednesday. Green ended the week with a game-high four saves to earn the win in the Mavericks' 2-1 win at Daemen on Saturday.

The awards are the first for Ramon and Green this season and the fifth for Lund-Iversen. Mercy has now earned 12 awards on the year.

Head Coach Pedro Velazquez and the Mavericks resume action tomorrow when they host Saint Anselm at 2:30 p.m.
