COLONIA, N.J. – Mercy University Men's Soccer junior Philip Hauge (Bergen, Norway/Central Connecticut State University) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Week Two, junior Harry Cooke (Saint Albans, England/D'Youville University) has been tabbed Goalkeeper of the Week and senior Jacob Darwesh Lund-Iversen (Oslo, Norway/Maryville University/Pima CC) has received Honor Roll recognition.

Hauge played all 90 minutes in both games of a 1-0-1 week for Mercy. The junior helped lead a Maverick backline that posted shutouts at 2025 NCAA Tournament participant Adelphi on Wednesday and defending CACC Champion Bridgeport on Sunday. Hauge scored his first collegiate goal in the Mavericks' 2-0 win at Bridgeport on Sunday, giving Mercy a critical insurance goal before halftime against the regionally-ranked Purple Knights.

Cooke went 1-0-1 in goal with two shutouts, eight saves, a 1.000 save percentage and 0.00 goals-against average. The junior opened the week making his first start of the season at 2025 NCAA Tournament participant Adelphi on Wednesday. Cooke made three saves to earn a 0-0 draw, including a diving save on a penalty kick in the 69th minute, to preserve the shutout. The junior ended the week with a career-high and game-high five saves at defending CACC Champion and regionally-ranked Bridgeport on Sunday, recording his first collegiate win in the Mavericks' 2-0 win.

Lund-Iversen scored the game-winning goal in the 3rd minute of action in Mercy's 2-0 win at defending CACC Champion and regionally-ranked Bridgeport on Sunday. The senior now has a team-high three goals and seven points on the year.

The awards are the first for Hauge and Cooke and the second for Lund-Iversen. Mercy has now earned five awards on the year.

Head Coach Pedro Velazquez and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday when they host West Chester at 3 p.m.
