DOBBS FERRY, N.Y.  – The Mercy University Men's Soccer Team is ranked fifth in the latest United Soccer Coaches East Region Top 10 Poll released earlier today.

Mercy moves up two spots in the poll after going 1-0-1 last week with a 0-0 draw at Adelphi on Wednesday and a 2-0 win at Bridgeport on Sunday. The Mavericks were led by junior Harry Cooke who had a team-high eight saves with two shutouts and by senior Jacob Darwesh Lund-Iversen and junior Philip Hauge who both scored. Mercy is the highest ranked team in the ECC.

Head Coach Pedro Velazquez and the Mavericks resume action tomorrow when they host West Chester at 3 p.m.
