2017: Named Third Team All-ECC… Tabbed ECAC Offensive Player of the Week on 10/17… Named to ECC Weekly Honor Roll on 10/16, 9/25… Appeared in all 18 games with 13 starts in 911 minutes… Ranked third on team with 16 points and five goals… Was second on team with six assists… Had three game-winning goals… Scored two goals in win over Felician on 9/20… Recorded a goal against NYIT, Queens and scored game-winning goal against Bridgeport… Had three assists in win over Holy Family on 10/12… Added assists against Roberts Wesleyan and Dominican.

2016: Named Third Team All-ECC... Named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) men's soccer weekly Honor Roll for Week Three and Six… Named ECAC Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 11... Saw action in 16 games for the Mavericks, earning 14 starts…Recorded a team-high eight goals and dished out two assists for 18 points…Fired off 55 shots with 20 on goal… Had game winning goals in the 2-1 victory over Saint Rose on Sept. 1, in the 3-0 victory over American International College on Sept. 7, and the 2-0 victory over Felician University on Sept. 10.

Prior to Mercy: Attended LA Mission College... Played on Real So Cal club team out of Woodland Hills, Calif.

Personal: Son of Omar Penate... Majoring in Sociology.
