Mercy University Athletics

Gianna Jennosa enters her first season on the Mercy College Women’s Soccer coaching staff for the 2017 season.

Jennosa’s primary responsibilities will be recruiting, fundraising, monitoring team academics, scheduling and operations. Jennosa will work primarily with the team’s defenders and help to improve the Mercy backline.

Jennosa comes from in-conference rival Molloy College where she was a four-year starter and team captain. She appeared in 61 games with 60 starts and tallied two goals and one assist as a right back for the Lions.

She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science in 2017 and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Mercy.
