2023: Named ECC Defensive Player of the Week once (11/13)… Appeared in all 24 matches with 85 sets played… Had 247 digs, 54 assists, 16 aces and two kills… Ranked second on team in digs and was third in assists… Fifth on team in aces… Had 12 matches with double-digit digs… Recorded season-high 20 digs in win over Roberts Wesleyan on November 5th… Had 12 digs in Mercy’s NCAA Tournament win over New Haven on November 30th.
Prior to Mercy: Attended Polk State College... Led Polk State College in service aces with 49 and ranked fourth in the NJCAA in service aces per set at 0.66... Earned placement on the FCSAA All-Academic Team... A part of the 2021 NJCAA Southeast District B Championship team.
Personal: Daughter of Gloritza Silva and Alex Cruz... Has four siblings, Alan Cruz (21), Dylan Lizardi (28), Ninotshka Lizardi (31) and Naomy Cruz (26)... Majoring in Psychology.
