Kirkland continued his strong play in the month of December, averaging 7.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in three games. The graduate student opened the month with 10 points at St. Thomas Aquinas on December 2nd. The guard followed that up with eight points and two rebounds against Staten Island on December 6th. Kirkland ended the month with three points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals at UDC on December 9th. The graduate student set a new school record for career three-pointers against the Firebirds with his 183rd career trifecta in the first half.
