Franck continued her strong play in the month of April, hitting .364 with a team-high 15 home runs and 26 RBI to go along with 18 runs scored in 20 games. The graduate student helped lead the Mavericks to their fourth straight ECC Championship berth and set a single-season school record for home runs. The one-time ECC Player of the Week during the month also recorded her 100th career RBI during the month. Franck had three games with two home runs and went 5-for-8 with six RBI and three home runs in the sweep of Staten Island on April 5th. The first baseman also went 2-for-5 with three RBI and two home runs in a game two win over Dominican on April 7th and went 2-for-5 with three RBI and two home runs in a game two win over Bloomfield on April 9th. Franck also recorded two home runs and five RBI in a sweep of D’Youville on April 20th. The graduate student hit the go-ahead home run in Mercy’s win over Staten Island on April 27th that gave the Mavericks an ECC Championship berth.
