Mercy University Athletics

Dilena had a strong month of October, finishing with a team-high 114 kills, 69 digs and 21 aces to go with 11 blocks as Mercy went 6-3 during the month. The one-time ECC Player of the Week and two-time Rookie of the Week during the month had three double-doubles, including a 14-kill, 10-dig performance in Mercy’s win over Molloy on October 16th. The freshman also had 10 kills and 12 digs at New Haven on October 22nd and recorded a career-high 19 kills on .359 hitting in the Mavericks’ come-from-behind win over STAC on October 26th. The outside hitter recorded double-digit kills in all but two of the nine matches during the month and had a career-high six aces in the win at Queens on October 19th.
