Abuhatab started the season strong for the Mavericks in November, averaging a team-high 15.3 points per game on 65.5 percent shooting as Mercy went 3-3 to open the season. The sophomore opened the season with 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting, scoring the game-winning basket as time expired in the Mavericks’ win over Saint Anselm on November 9th. The guard later had 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting against Pace on November 17th before adding 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting against Dominican on November 20th. Abuhatab recorded a career-high 23 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the floor and 9-of-9 shooting from the foul line in Mercy’s win at Caldwell on November 23rd. The two-time ECC Honor Roll recipient during the month ended the month with 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor and 4-of-8 shooting from downtown in the Mavericks’ win at Bridgeport on November 26th.
