Runge continued her strong play for the Mavericks, leading the team with 318 assists and 8.59 assists per set as Mercy went 7-3 during the month. The three-time ECC Honor Roll recipient finished with 20 or more assists in all ten matches. The senior opened the month with 43 assists and eight digs at Roberts Wesleyan on October 5th. The setter then posted 43 assists and eight digs in Mercy’s win over Nyack on October 12th. Runge posted 35 assists and recorded her 2,000th career assist in Mercy’s win over Goldey-Beacom on October 24th. The senior concluded the month with 45 assists and 11 digs in Mercy’s comeback victory over NYIT on October 26th.
