Garcia continued her strong play for the Mavericks, recording a team-high 383 assists in 12 matches with 128 digs and 56 kills as Mercy won five matches during the month. The one-time ECC Setter of the Week and one-time ECC Honor Roll recipient during the month had a month-high 51 assists with 21 digs and six kills in the Mavericks win over Wilmington on October 19th. The setter had a month-high 22 digs with 36 assists and seven kills against New Haven on October 12th. In the match against Le Moyne, the junior had 18 digs, 41 assists and eight kills. Against Southern New Hampshire on October 19th, Garcia had 19 digs, 35 assists and seven kills and the junior ended the month with 31 assists and 13 digs in the win over Goldey-Beacom on October 26th.
