Griffin had a record-breaking month of February for the Mavericks. The redshirt junior set a school record for career blocks, career rebounds, single season rebounds and recorded his 1,000th career point. The forward averaged a team-high 22.6 points, 15.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game, shooting a team-best 53.2 percent from the floor. Griffin had a double-double in six of the eight games played and was named ECC Defensive Player of the Week twice during the month. The redshirt junior had a month-high 34 points on 12-for-18 shooting with 18 rebounds at St. Thomas Aquinas on February 1st. Griffin set a new program record in blocks in the Mavericks win over New York Tech on February 8th, finishing with three blocks to surpass the career record of 118. He also added 23 points and 17 rebounds in the victory. The redshirt junior recorded his 1,000th career point on February 14th at Roberts Wesleyan when he had 27 points and 18 rebounds. Griffin set the single-season school record for rebounds in the Mavericks game against Molloy on February 19th, surpassing his own record of 300 set last season. Griffin concluded the month and season with 21 rebounds on February 29th at Bridgeport to set a new school record for career rebounds with 708. Griffin ended the season with a school-record 347 rebounds and now has a school record 708 career rebounds and 128 career blocks and is seventh all-time in points with 1100.
