Lacerda had a strong month for the Mavericks, leading Mercy with five goals and 11 points during the month. The junior started nine games and had three game-winning goals as Mercy went 7-2 during the month. The midfielder opened the month with the game-winning goal in the Mavericks 1-0 win over Daemen on October 7th and followed that up with two goals in the win over Holy Family on October 12th. Lacerda later produced a goal and an assist in the Mavericks win over Roberts Wesleyan on October 21st and concluded his scoring during the month with the game-winning goal in Mercy’s 1-0 win over St. Thomas Aquinas on October 28th. Lacerda ended the month with 18 shots on goal and ended the year leading the Mavericks with seven assists, earning First Team All-ECC honors in the process.
