Cotton concluded her collegiate career with a strong month of October, recording three goals, one assist, seven points and a team-high two game-winning goals. The graduate student was named to the NE10 Honor Roll once and opened the month with a goal against St. Thomas Aquinas on October 6th. Cotton went on to score the game-winning goal in overtime in Mercy’s 3-2 win over Franklin Pierce on October 16th. She also scored the game-winning goal in the Mavericks 6-1 win over Molloy on October 20th, while also adding an assist. Cotton ended the season ranked second on the team in goals (5) and points (11).
