Elvestad continued his strong play in goal for the Mavericks, going 2-0-1 during the month of October. The freshman was named ECC Rookie of the Week once during the month and had 10 saves, a .833 save percentage, two shutouts and a 0.62 goals against average in three starts. Elvestad helped lead the Mavericks to a 4-1-1 record in the month of October, including helping lead Mercy to four straight wins to conclude October. The freshman opened the month with two saves in the Mavericks 0-0 tie against UDC on October 9th. The goalkeeper followed that up with four saves in the Mavericks 2-0 shutout win over Molloy on October 16th. Elvestad ended the month with four saves in Mercy’s 4-2 win over Queens on October 22nd.
