Gerdvil had a strong month of February in helping lead the Mavericks to a 3-1 record during the month of February and a top five national ranking. The senior opened the month with a ground ball in the season-opening win over Dominican on February 11th and then had a career-high eight ground balls with four caused turnovers in the win over Saint Rose on February 15th. The defender had four ground balls and three caused turnovers against nationally-ranked Le Moyne on February 19th. Gerdvil ended the month with three ground balls and two caused turnovers in Mercy’s win over Georgian Court on February 22nd. The one-time ECC Defensive Player of the Week and two-time USILA Division II Team of the Week selection ended the month of February with 16 ground balls and nine caused turnovers.
