LaMonica had a strong month of May, helping lead the Mavericks to their second straight ECC Championship. The freshman went 2-0 in goal with nine saves, a .750 save percentage and 2.79 goals-against average. The goalie opened the month with four saves in 34:28 minutes of action with just one goal allowed to earn the win in Mercy’s ECC Semifinal win over D’Youville on May 4th. LaMonica ended the month with five saves and just two goals allowed in 30 minutes of action to earn the win in Mercy’s ECC Championship win over Roberts Wesleyan on May 7th. The freshman ended her first season as a Maverick with a 4-0 record, 39 saves, a .500 save percentage and 6.42 goals-against average in 12 games.
