Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy has won two of their last three games and is coming off a 2-1 win over Molloy on Wednesday. Sophomore Savanna James scored the game-winning goal with 19 seconds left to lead the Mavericks to their second NE10 win. Freshman Alyssa Sacco leads the Mavericks with three points on a goal and an assist. Junior Brooke Anthony, freshmen Lily Sherry and Katie Kreider and seniors Sabrina Anderson and Rebecca Podskoch have also scored on the year. Sophomore Lauren Viscione has been strong in net for the Mavericks with 81 saves and a .827 save percentage. Viscione is 2-4 in goal and has a 2.83 goals against average with one shutout.
Scouting the Yellow Jackets
AIC is coming off a 4-2 win over Bentley on Saturday after dropping their previous two games. The Yellow Jackets have been led by Shannon Cormier who has a team-high ten points on four goals and two assists. Chelsea Davis is second on the team with eight points by way of three goals and two assists. Davis also has as a team-high-tying three defensive saves and Jessica Stone is 5-2 in goal with 30 saves, two shutouts and a .769 save percentage.
