Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy is 3-2 in their last five games and is coming off a 2-1 overtime victory over Southern Connecticut on Wednesday. The Mavericks have been led by senior Rebecca Podskoch who leads the team with seven points on three goals and an assist. Freshman Alyssa Sacco is second on the team with three points on a goal and an assist. Junior Nicole Cotton scored the game-winning goal in the Mavericks win over the Owls on Wednesday and freshman Lily Sherry tallied the game-winning goal in Mercy's win over Pace on September 17th. Sophomore Lauren Viscione has been strong in goal going 3-5 with 98 saves and a .824 save percentage.
Scouting the Ravens
Franklin Pierce enters Saturday's game on a three-game losing streak and is coming off a 3-0 loss to nationally-ranked Adelphi on Wednesday. Leading the Ravens are Meghan Winn and Feline van Doorn who both have a team-high seven points on three goals and an assist. Julianne Sacco has three goals and Madison Gagnon has a goal and two assists. Olivia Barnes is 4-7 in goal with 74 saves and a .796 save percentage in 11 starts.
