Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy is 3-3 in their last six games and is coming off a 5-1 loss to Franklin Pierce on Saturday. The Mavericks were led by freshman Alyssa Sacco who scored and by junior Brooke Anthony who dished out an assist. Mercy has been led by senior Rebecca Podskoch who has a team-high three goals with one assist for a team-high seven points. Sacco has five points with two goals and an assist and Anthony has a goal and an assist. Sophomore Lauren Viscione is 3-6 in goal with 101 saves and a .808 save percentage in nine starts.
Scouting the Panthers
Adelphi is on an eight-game winning streak and comes in nationally-ranked. The Panthers earned a 1-0 victory over No. 8 Assumption on Saturday and have been led by senior Elissa Frein who has a team-high eight goals, five assists and 21 points. Junior Jackie Brown has six goals and three assists and sophomore Kaylee Deleva has four goals and four assists. Senior Stephanie Peragallo is 5-0 in goal with three shutouts and 12 saves in five starts.
