Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy enters Saturday's game on a two-game losing streak and is coming off a narrow 2-0 loss to No. 6 Adelphi on Tuesday. The Mavericks are led by senior Rebecca Podskoch who leads the team with seven points on a team-high three goals with one assist. Freshman Alyssa Sacco is second on the team with five points on two goals and an assist. Junior Brooke Anthony has a goal and an assist and sophomore Lauren Viscione is 3-7 in goal with 113 saves and a .813 save percentage in 10 starts.
Scouting the Spartans
St. Thomas Aquinas is 3-3 in their last six games and is coming off a 2-1 overtime victory at New Haven on Wednesday. The Spartans are led by senior Briannah Thorne who leads the team with 19 points and nine goals. Freshman Lisa Larsson is second on the team with 14 points on six goals and two assists and sophomore Lotte Strijbos is third on the team with ten points on four goals and two assists. Junior Suzanne Clarke is 5-7 in goal with 82 saves and .752 save percentage.
