Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy enters Wednesday's game on a three-game losing streak and is coming off a 3-1 loss at St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday. The Mavericks are led by senior Rebecca Podskoch who has a team-high seven points on three goals and one assist. Freshman Alyssa Sacco is second on the team with six points by way of two goals and two assists. Freshman Katie Kreider also has two goals and junior Brooke Anthony has a goal and an assist. Sophomore Lauren Viscione is 3-8 in goal with 116 saves, a .800 save percentage and one shutout.
Scouting the Hawks
Saint Anselm has won three of their last four games, but is coming off a 1-0 loss at Assumption on Wednesday. The Hawks are led by sophomore Carly LaCasse who has a team-high 26 points on 11 goals and four assists. Senior Hannah Friend is second on the team with 17 points by way of five goals and a team-high seven assists. Junior Julia Hand is 12-2 in goal with seven shutouts, a 0.26 goals against average and 17 saves in 14 starts.
