Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy is 2-2 in their last four games and is coming off a 3-1 loss at AIC on Wednesday. The Mavericks are led by senior Rebecca Podskoch who has a team-high two goals and four points. Freshman Alyssa Sacco is second on the team with three points on a goal and an assist. Senior Sabrina Anderson, junior Brooke Anthony, sophomore Savanna James and freshmen Katie Kreider and Lily Sherry have also scored. Senior Kaylee Organista and sophomore Briannagh Smith both have assists on the year. Sophomore Lauren Viscione is 2-5 with 89 saves and a .817 save percentage in goal.
Scouting the Owls
Southern Connecticut is winless on the year and is coming off a 2-1 loss at Saint Michael's on Saturday. The Owls have received goals from Kaitlyn Bourque, Ellie Craft, Alyssa Haskins, Chloe Knight, Janelle Ward and Karley Welles. Jessica Maier has recorded the lone assist for the Owls this season. Jana Migliaro and Julia Schaff both have a team-high two defensive saves and Brianna Craft has a team-high 121 saves in goal with a .818 save percentage.
