Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy is coming off a 79-63 victory over Holy Family on Saturday and they were led by junior Amber Brown who had a game-high 28 points and ten rebounds. The Mavericks are led by Brown who is averaging an ECC-best 19.0 points per game on 50.9 percent shooting with a team-high 7.8 rebounds per game. Freshman Katie Wall is putting up 14.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game in her rookie campaign. The guard is coming off a career-high 19 points against Holy Family and has drained a team-high 11 three-pointers. Senior Abigail Collier is averaging 8.3 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game and senior Destinee Hall is netting 5.5 points per contest.
Scouting the Wildcats
Wilmington was picked seventh in the CACC South Preseason Poll and has opened the season with four straight losses. The Wildcats are coming off a 73-56 loss to Franklin Pierce on Saturday and have been led by junior Jadyn Whitsitt who is averaging a team-high 14.0 points per game. Redshirt senior Kasha Andrews is scoring 11.3 points per game and junior Tiffany Jackson is also averaging 11.3 points per game. Jackson is also bringing down a team-high 8.3 rebounds per game and senior Mikala Casimir is averaging 8.0 points per game.
