Scouting the Mavericks

Mercy looks to pick up their fourth win in a row after earning a 70-52 victory over Nyack on Saturday. The Mavericks are looking to win four games in a row for the first time since 1997-98 and with a win would be off to their best start since 2014-15. Mercy is led by junior Amber Brown who is 42 points shy of 1,000 for her career and is averaging a team-high 18.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game on 49.4 percent shooting. Freshman Katie Wall is putting up 12.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game and has a team-high 24 assists. Senior Abigail Collier is averaging 9.0 points and 5.2 rebounds per game and freshman Kellie Nudd is netting 5.7 points per contest.

Scouting the Cougars

Caldwell is looking for their first win of the season and is coming off an 81-61 loss to St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday. The Cougars are led by Alessia Smaldone who is averaging a team-high 9.2 points per game with 5.6 rebounds per game and a team-high 17 assists. Tina Lebron is second on the team with 9.0 points per game and Rebecca Morrison also averages 9.0 points per game. Paula Dits is putting up 8.6 points per game and is leading the team with 7.2 rebounds per game.
