WILMINGTON, Del. (Nov. 7, 2019) – Powered by the game-winning goal in the 6th minute of action from sophomore Sydney Cooper (Long Beach, Calif./Los Alamitos), the No. 24 Mercy College women's soccer team earned a 1-0 victory over Goldey-Beacom College on Thursday afternoon.

Cooper netted her second goal of the season and senior Natalia Elizarraras (Whittier, Calif./Los Altos) dished out an assist. Junior Melissa Torres (La Mirada, Calif./La Mirada) made one save to post the shutout win.

Goldey-Beacom was led by Line Kristoffersen who had a shot on goal. Noel Talbot made seven saves to take the loss.
