Scouting the Mavericks

Mercy is currently on a five-game winning streak and with a win would have their first six-game winning streak since 1985. The Mavericks are off to their best start since 2014-15 when they started 6-2. Mercy is currently led by junior Amber Brown who is two points shy of 1,000 for her career and leads the ECC with 19.1 points per game. Brown also averages a team-high-tying 7.0 rebounds per game and is shooting 47.4 percent from the floor. Freshman Katie Wall is a two-time ECC Rookie of the Week and is second on the team with 13.4 points per game. The guard has also made a team-high 17 threes, is 28-of-30 from the foul line and averages team-high 4.1 assists per game. Senior Abigail Collier is third on the team with 11.0 points per game and is tied for the team lead with 7.0 rebounds per game. The forward has recorded a double-double in each of her last two games.

Scouting the Clippers

Concordia enters Tuesday's game on a three-game losing streak and is coming off a 65-50 loss at Queens on Saturday. The Clippers lone win of the season came on November 23rd against Bridgeport. Senior Nicole Nicholson leads Concordia with 10.1 points per game, 2.9 steals per game and 1.6 made threes per contest. Junior Shanice Graves is second on the team with 9.9 points per game and is tied for the team lead with 6.0 rebounds per game. Sophomore Sara Hopkins is putting up 8.8 points per game and leads the team with 2.7 assists per game.
