Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy opened the season with a loss to Lindenwood on Sunday. Freshman Katie Kreider scored her first collegiate goal and freshman Alyssa Sacco had her first collegiate assist in the 2-1 loss to the Lions. Sophomore Lauren Viscione made a career-high 16 saves in the win. The Mavericks begin their first season in the NE-10 and were picked 13th in the preseason poll.
Scouting the Chargers
New Haven started their 2019 season with losses to AIC and Assumption. The Chargers were led offensively by Morgan McCarty who had a team-high three shots on goal. Natalie Shaker made 19 saves over the course of the two games.
