Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy is coming off their first win of the season against Pace who appeared in the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament last year. Freshman Lily Sherry scored the game-winning goal in the 1-0 victory. Freshman Alyssa Sacco has a team-high three points on a goal and an assist in four starts. Senior Sabrina Anderson and freshman Katie Kreider have also scored on the year and sophomore Lauren Viscione has been strong in goal with 62 saves and a .873 save percentage.
Scouting the Greyhounds
Assumption is ranked No. 7 in the nation and is coming off a 1-0 double overtime loss to Stonehill on Tuesday. The Greyhounds are led by junior Jennifer Beardsley who has a team-high three goals and seven points. Junior Deirdre Burchill and senior Courtney Sickel both have two goals on the year and sophomore Kylie Gargiulo is 2-1 in goal with 12 saves and a .923 save percentage in three starts.
