Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy looks to snap an eight-game losing streak and is coming off a 69-64 loss at Queens on Wednesday. The Mavericks are looking to defeat the Lions for the first time since January 27, 2016 when they earned a 57-54 win at Molloy. Mercy is currently fourth in the ECC in points per game (63.4) and leads the ECC with 42.7 rebounds per game. Junior Amber Brown leads the Mavericks with 14.0 points and 7.1 rebounds per game in a team-high-tying 29.4 minutes per game. Freshman Katie Wall is a three-time ECC Rookie of the Week and is second on the team with 12.2 points per game. The guard also leads the team with 3.5 assists per game and is shooting 40.0 percent from downtown (No. 2 in ECC). Senior Abigail Collier is third on the team with 8.9 points per game and ranks fifth in the ECC shooting 49.1 percent from the floor.

Molloy has won three of their last four games and is coming off a 66-43 win at Bridgeport on Wednesday. The Lions surrender just 52.8 points per game (No. 1 in ECC) and hold opponents to 35.0 percent shooting from the floor (No. 2 in ECC). Molloy is led by two-time ECC Player of the Week senior Kadijah Dickson who is averaging a team-high 15.6 points (No. 1 in ECC) and 8.6 rebounds per game (No. 2 in ECC). Junior Gabriella Aspuru is second on the team with 11.7 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game. Junior Giolibeth Perez is a one-time ECC Defensive Player of the Week, is third on the team with 7.9 points per game and leads the team with 4.1 assists per game.
