Mercy drew two penalty corners to open the first overtime period. The first attempt just 30 seconds in the period saw a potential game-winning goal off the stick off Ringstad called off. The Mavericks drew another corner, and a Ringstad shot was stopped by Montiel to keep the game tied at 1-1. The Panthers would score the game-winning goal in the 64th minute after a Lee shot was stopped by Visicone and Deleva fired home the rebound to give Adelphi the 2-1 overtime win.
