DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (May 9, 2022) – The Mercy College women's lacrosse team has been ranked No. 13 nationally in the Nike/USA Lacrosse Magazine Division II Women's Lacrosse Top 20 Poll and No. 14 in the ILWomen/IWLCA Division II Top 25 Poll.
The Mavericks move up three spots in the Nike/USA Lacrosse Magazine Poll and move up one spot in the IWLCA Poll after going 2-0 on the week with wins over D'Youville and Roberts Wesleyan to capture their second ECC Championship. The Mavericks were led by senior Juliana Keenan who had a team-high 14 points on nine goals and five assists. Mercy and Roberts Wesleyan (No. 21) are the lone ECC schools in the IWLCA Poll.
Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Friday, May 13th when they play at Stonehill in an NCAA Tournament First Round matchup at 11 a.m.
