Women's Basketball Ranked 10th in D2CSC East Region Top 10 Poll

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Dec. 11, 2023) – The Mercy University women's basketball team is ranked 10th in the Division II College Sports Communicators (D2CSC) East Region Poll, as announced by the organization earlier today. The poll ranks the top 10 teams in the region each week.

The Mavericks drop one spot in the poll after going 1-1 last week with a win over Staten Island and a loss to District of Columbia. Mercy has been led by graduate student Katie Wall who leads the East Region with 21.1 points per game. Junior Jaclyn Stanavich averages 13.1 points per game and sophomore Angelina Barrera averages a team-high 7.6 rebounds per game.

Head Coach Scott Lagas and the Mavericks resume action on Friday, December 15th when they play at Saint Leo at 5 p.m.
