WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Feb. 6, 2023) – Mercy College women's basketball freshman Angelina Barrera (Gloucester City, N.J./Gloucester Catholic) has been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Basketball Honor Roll for Week 12.

Barrera had a career-high 17 points on 5-of-10 shooting with seven rebounds in 27 minutes of action in Mercy's first-ever win at Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday.

The award is the second for Barrera this season and the Mavericks have now earned 14 awards on the year.

Head Coach Scott Lagas and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday, February 8th when they host St. Thomas Aquinas at 5 p.m.
