DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Feb. 12, 2024) – The Mercy University men's lacrosse team has been ranked No. 10 nationally in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Top 20 poll and No. 8 nationally in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Top 20 poll.
The Mavericks moved up three spots in the USILA poll and slide up one spot in the USA Lacrosse Magazine poll after being idle last week. Mercy went 14-4 last season, winning their fourth straight ECC Championship and qualifying for the NCAA Tournament for the fourth straight season. The Mavericks will be led by USILA Preseason All-Americans graduate student Justin Gerdvil and seniors Jason Kuehner and Tyler Pjatak.
Head Coach Ryan MacSpadyen and the Mavericks open their 2024 season on Wednesday, February 14th hosting Saint Rose at 1 p.m.
